"Folk Story From OSSU....."

Every hometown always have folk story,,,Now I want to share some of my story in my hometown OSSU, I live in Dili and I grew up in Dili but my father comes from OSSU and when I was child maybe around 10 years old I always went to OSSU for spent my holiday in there...and when I was in Ossu I like one place there is We'willau lake and "Knoa Laran" .....
I always sat with my grandparents and I like to asked everything about OSSU....
and some of the my question are:what is We'Willau? and How is it became a lake? and my grandparent started with their story about We'Willau :

Long time ago in one place was called OSSU had a beautiful woman her name is Willa. She came from wealthy family. Her beautiful had heard by the people who live there.
Someday had a man who came from the poor family and proposed to her family to married with her but Willa family didn’t accept that man. So, Willa’s father asks to the men that have to do luxurious house for one night but they didn’t know the man was magician.
After that the man went to the matebian mountain (One of the mountain in East Timor) for ascetic and how to do it?. He could to do a luxurious house for two night but Willa family still didn’t receive that man. So, he came back to Matebian Mountain to live ascetic again. And he asked to devil spirit to gave a rain but the rain only in the Willa’s house…. Suddenly, it was full rain for seven days and willa’s house became a lake. Until now a roof of house still appears and the people in our sub-district called that lake was We’Willau….

And my grandparents said “We” means Water and Willau means the name of the girl….
So, We’Willau is the names of the water and Willa…
Now,people in OSSU still using We'willau to irrigation and their necessary...

Love You OSSU and I will do the best for you....
